April 20, 2009

New Jersey metal veterans OVERKILL have been confirmed for the 10th Busan International Rock Festival, set to take place August 8-9 in Busan, South Korea.

OVERKILL has tapped PAIN/HYPOCRISY mainman Peter Tägtgren to mix the band's new album in August.

OVERKILL bassist D.D. Verni has been locked in the studio putting together what will be the band's 25th anniversary release. The group is still talking with different labels, but plans are to make the new CD available at the end of the year.

Since 2010 is the 25th anniversary of the release of the debut OVERKILL album, "Feel The Fire", there are lots of plans for next year, including U.S. and European tours.
